The Last Pumpkins

I feel like I am so late on my last pumpkin project, but I finally finished it tonight and it looks so cute I wish I would have done it weeks ago! Oh well, I leave my fall decorations up until Thanksgiving so I have a few more weeks to enjoy it.

I’ve seen some wonderful “funkin” painted pumpkin projects around blog-land and got inspired to create my own using your basic medium-sized orange funkin:
IMG_3111 First, it got a coat of Heirloom White spray paint:IMG_3126
Then I used a black paint pen to color in a fleur de lis from a stencil:

But you know I wasn’t satisfied with just plain black. I had to add some sparkle with some fine black glitter:

And on the other side I painted on our last initial and added a bit of bling:

I arranged it on a tray with one last glitter pumpkin, a cute fall teddy bear, and  a fall votive holder for the perfect fall centerpiece:

  4. Beautiful pumpkins, and although you won't enjoy them for too long because it's almost time to decorate for Christmas, just imagine how wonderful it's going to be to unpack them next fall!

  17. OMG! What a small world it is! Another blogger, whose mom follows my blog, commented that Dixie's daughter is in her daughter's Kindergarten class. I hope Dixie enjoyed her weekend in our little town! She was a beautiful and charming representative of our festival! ~Rhonda :)
