I feel like I am so late on my last pumpkin project, but I finally finished it tonight and it looks so cute I wish I would have done it weeks ago! Oh well, I leave my fall decorations up until Thanksgiving so I have a few more weeks to enjoy it.
I’ve seen some wonderful “funkin” painted pumpkin projects around blog-land and got inspired to create my own using your basic medium-sized orange funkin:
First, it got a coat of Heirloom White spray paint: Then I used a black paint pen to color in a fleur de lis from a stencil:
But you know I wasn’t satisfied with just plain black. I had to add some sparkle with some fine black glitter:
And on the other side I painted on our last initial and added a bit of bling:
I arranged it on a tray with one last glitter pumpkin, a cute fall teddy bear, and a fall votive holder for the perfect fall centerpiece:
I’ll be joining Roeshel over at The DIY Showoff Blog for one last Fall Festival post. While you’re there, be sure and check out my giveaway! I’ll also be posting to the usual weekly parties, click on the buttons below to visit everyone!
