I feel like I am so late on my last pumpkin project, but I finally finished it tonight and it looks so cute I wish I would have done it weeks ago! Oh well, I leave my fall decorations up until Thanksgiving so I have a few more weeks to enjoy it.
I’ve seen some wonderful “funkin” painted pumpkin projects around blog-land and got inspired to create my own using your basic medium-sized orange funkin:First, it got a coat of Heirloom White spray paint:
Then I used a black paint pen to color in a fleur de lis from a stencil:
But you know I wasn’t satisfied with just plain black. I had to add some sparkle with some fine black glitter:
And on the other side I painted on our last initial and added a bit of bling:
I arranged it on a tray with one last glitter pumpkin, a cute fall teddy bear, and a fall votive holder for the perfect fall centerpiece:I’ll be joining Roeshel over at The DIY Showoff Blog for one last Fall Festival post. While you’re there, be sure and check out my giveaway!
