Recently Sold Items and Feedback on Etsy

Just a quick post to share some items recently sold from my Etsy shop.  I get so excited when I see a “Etsy Order from soanso” email in my inbox!  This first set of three frames was made for a bride who wanted them for parents’ gifts:

IMG_2724One of my newest designs also found a new home.  I just love the oversized rose with a vintage rhinestone button in the center.  I can’t wait to do more of these:

IMG_2800 IMG_2801I also did a set of three custom tins for a little girl’s room.  This was my first time doing a monogram in the center and I think it turned out nicely:IMG_2732 IMG_2734 IMG_2735


I borrowed an idea from Suzanne (be sure and check out her Etsy Shop if you need a cute collar for your pooch) and started enclosing “Thank You” cards requesting feedback from buyers if they are happy with their purchase.  Unfortunately, many buyers do not know they can leave feedback for the seller after a purchase.  While I haven’t had any negative reactions to any of my sales, I haven’t heard anything positive from several buyers either after they’ve received their purchase.  I want to know that they are satisfied (especially if it was a custom order), and I really don’t want to keep bugging the buyers via email or Etsy conversations, so I thought the little cards were a great idea.  I include a coupon for a future purchase on the other side.  We’ll see how it works out.

    I think the feedback reminders are a great idea. If you remember, I had no idea that you could leave feedback. It will help other newbs like me and keep your shop in people's mind.
