One of my birthday presents from my mom was some vinyl wall decals. At first I really wasn’t sure about jumping on the vinyl decal bandwagon, but I am really pleased with the results!
When you walk down the hallway in our house that takes you to all the bedrooms, there is a blank wall at the end that has always bugged me. There wasn’t really room to hang anything there because the bedroom door was in the way. So vinyl art was the perfect solution.
It was a simple process that took my mom and I about 2 hours to complete. The decals were shipped on large sheets, and we cut out the individual designs:
We then played around with the layout, using painter’s tape to arrange the branches on the wall until we were satisfied.
Then it was just a simple rub, peel and stick process to adhere the decals to the wall.
I really think the finished product looks like it is painted on, but the decals are completely removable in case I ever change my mind (which never happens, right ladies??)!
Even Gidget approves!

I used decals in my guest bedroom and love them too! I really like the different colors in yours.
ReplyDeleteLove the wall and the decals are just fabulous. Looks wonderful. Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteI haven't done the vinyl, but I did do a stencil that copied a vinyl. Does that count? The vinyl was 500.00+ and I did it for 10.00. I love it. It's at the top of my stairs since the landing is too small to put a piece of furniture there. Love how you put yours up! It looks great!
ReplyDeleteSo pretty and perfect for spring. I'd love to open someone's door and be greeted by that!
